The group that went to Grandmothers on Friday night was having this discussion, which was kind of interesting...so I thought I'd post it here!

What are some interests / activities, etc. that you got interested in *specifically* due to a certain relationship? Did those interests last after the breakup? And did you pass those interests on to someone else?

I had a couple of relationships with guys who golfed...so I played a little briefly. I would love to really learn how to play someday though!

One of the golfers was also a KJ (karaoke jockey), and it was while I was dating him that I did karaoke for the first time. And yes, it stuck! And I think I might have passed it on...time will tell.

And anyone else have relationship specific TV shows? I dated one guy (same as the one above) that LOVED "Everybody Loves Raymond"...and so we watched that regularly...but in a later relationship, the guy hated Raymond, and so I never watched it again. Luckily he liked Seinfeld...so that was our show
