BWW Trivia Night Thursday at 7:30

Buffalo Wild Wings has trivia Thursday night, November 20 at 8:00 p.m.
Since our very own trivia master, Ron, won't be doing trivia on Saturday night....and I have other plans so I couldn't go anyway.....I thought we could do a gathering Thursday instead and see him off before his big trip to balmy Arizona!!

I'm thinking we could meet there at 7:30 p.m. to get a table and maybe share a meal if you want to eat. I'm not sure if I'll be eating there or at home but I will be at trivia.

Who wants to come along?

I forget - how long does trivia usually last?

Oh Lynne, usually trivia last about 2 hours. I think maybe a little less but somewhere in that vicinity.

I will be coming straight from work, so I will definitely want to eat there. I assume they have more than just wings on the menu... And I have to put my knowledge of useless factoids to use somehow.

Lisa, I can't be there at 7:30, because Kelly's thing doesn't start until 7:00. I'll try to be at BBW by 8:00.

Lisa, are you sure you don't mean 76th and Dodge? And Lynne, are you aware that you said "BBW" instead of "BWW"?

Just to clarify, the game is scheduled to start at 8:00 but I have been starting a little bit later these last couple of weeks. Since NFL Thursday night games started a few weeks ago I've been playing a "silent game" to allow the NFL fans to hear the game. However, the silent game moves a bit quicker and we are done by about 10:00. (Can't wait until 12/18 when the NFL Thursday games end and I get to play music there again!)

I'm not trying to talk anyone out of it because I'd enjoy seeing you there and it's still a fun game. Just wanted you to be aware of the differences from what you are used to.

Is it 76th and Dodge? I guess it is. Anyway it's right next to Chuck E. Cheese and Old Country Buffet and Toys 'r' us. Same strip mall.

This sounds fun...but I'm tired and broke and really not good at staying silent

Thanks to everyone who showed up. The silent game was pretty fun but not nearly as much as the games Ron does on Saturday nights at Clancy's.

P.S. I have now realized that I am NOT the trivia master!!! I'm more like the weakest link.

However I'm proud to say that at one point we were in 5th place out of 8. Not too bad!!! haha.

Ed and Lynne, nice job pulling some of that obscure trivia out for the questions.

You mean like when I claimed (and convinced Ed, no less!) that Boulder was the capital of Colorado? LOL How embarrassing.

What I really want to know is this: If Boulder WAS the capital of Colorado, would it be the highest capital? Hmmm? Was I at least sort of right? LOL

The only one I knew was how to make brown sugar out of white sugar and molasses. I'm the weakest link!! Ok and I sort of knew that an amoeba has cilia and spins! Ron, I think we still should have gotten half credit for that one. haha

Yes, I was there from 6:30-8:00... Had a beer and got something to eat. I didn't see anyone there, I was sitting in the bar area.. I had to be somewhere else around 8:30, so it was no big deal. Hope everyone had fun...

Darren, next time I'll give you my number so you can find us. We were in the booths near where Ron did trivia. I'm really sorry we missed you.

Ugggh, what a bummer! So sorry THEY missed you, Darren! (I didn't get there until after 9:00, so it was all their fault. )
