Sunday, November 9th---Dinner & Games

I have reserved the back room of Denny's Restaraunt at 3509 S 84th St (right off the Interstate) for dinner and games! Dinner will start at 5:30pm & games will start at 6:30. I will bring a lot of games and cards...but if you have a favorite, feel free to bring it as well! There will be a $1.50 charge per person plus the money for dinner & tip.

Everyone is invited! Please post if you can make it so we can give Denny's a head-count!

I have a game called "Man Laws and Woman Rules" that might be fun to try out if we have a good mix of guys and gals. I don't know how fun it is since I've never actually played it but it could be a good time. I'll be sure to bring it just in case...

I should be able to make it. Last time was a lot of fun. Though I have to say, I enjoyed the games and the company much more than the food...

Ed, hopefully that was a fluke......I'm sure they'll do better with your meal next time.

Ron...that game was a TRIP! I would like to nominate that game as the official "Don't go it alone" weird conversation starter game!

If any lurkers are reading out there and haven't been able to bring yourself to attend a gathering yet, game night really is THE event to go to if you want to get to know people. I know it is intimidating to walk into a room with people you don't know...but that feeling will only last about 5 minutes! By the end of the night, you'll know people well! Next game night is in 2 weeks...let's make it the biggest EVER!!

That game was a blast

I had a blast last night. What a great game for sparking deep discussions and opinions. I feel like I know everyone so much better now. I ever learned something new about Erin after all these years. I'm using the star because there's no heart here.

Glad you all liked the game. I was a bit worried since I can't vouch for a game I never played. I'm also glad it made a few of you blush...that's how I knew it was a good game.

It was a lot of fun, and sparked a lot of... interesting conversations. Like about leg shaving, and think there was some mention of toilets. I don't think I can make it to the next game night, but maybe the next trivia night.
