Thursday Nov 13th - All Day - $1 movies at the new Westroad Rave Theatres

OK - I just saw this in the OWH tonight - the new Rave Theatre opens on Friday with All Digital Projection - a first in Omaha. Anyway, on Thursday they are showing last summers hits all day and night for $1 per ticket,$1 per soda, and $1 per popcorn...

I was thinking of taking off some time from my job (not hard to do when you work from home) and catch an early afternoon movie! If anyone else is interested, I wouldnt mind seeing The Dark Knoight or Iron Man.

Here is the schedule:

• Hancock: noon, 2:30 p.m., 5:15 p.m., 7:40 p.m.

• Indiana Jones: 11:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m., 5:00 p.m., 8:00 p.m.

• Iron Man: 10:35 a.m., 1:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m., 7:30 p.m.

• Kung-Fu Panda: 10:45 a.m., 1:15 p.m., 4:00 p.m., 7:10 p.m.

• Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist: 11:20 a.m., 2:20 p.m., 5:20 p.m., 7:50 p.m.

• Nights in Rodanthe: 11:05am, 2:05 p.m., 4:50 p.m., 7:20 p.m.

• Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2: 10:50 a.m., 1:20 p.m., 4:10 p.m., 7:05 p.m.

• Space Chimps: 10:05 a.m., 1:55 p.m.

• The Duchess: 4:20 p.m., 7:25 p.m.

• Star Wars: The Clone Wars: 10:25am, 1:25 p.m., 4:05 p.m., 6:40 p.m.

• The Dark Knight: 11:30 a.m., 3:30 p.m., 7:00 p.m.

• The House Bunny: 11:15 a.m., 1:45 p.m., 4:45 p.m., 7:15 p.m.

• Wall-E: 10:30 a.m., 12:45 p.m., 3:45pm, 6:30 pm

• What Happens in Vegas: 10:40 a.m., 2:10 p.m., 5:05p.m., 7:35 p.m.

• X Files: I Want To Believe: 10:55 a.m., 2:25 p.m., 5:10 p.m., 7:55 p.m.

Also, all proceeds from showings benefit the OWH Goodfellows charity....

I'd be interested in The Dark Knight. I'm looking at those show times and thinking that 11:30 might work for me as a long lunch or maybe the 3:00. I've been wanting to see that so I'll probably go even if nobody else can.

LOL@Von Maur shopping. Perhaps they need touch screens so you can shop from your favorite place in Von Maur.

I'd love to go and see The Dark Knight but I won't be able to go until after work and I get off at 4:00 p.m.

I'd love to Erin...that's on my "to see" list but I have a date with my kiddo to see Iron Man in the evening.

I just don't think I could watch that movie, Erin. It just looks waaaay too...something. Something bad.

However, if you want to meet up for a beer afterwards, I'd be up for that.

Erin, you probably wouldn't have been able to get in anyway. When we got to the theater they turned us away and said every movie was sold out. We were so disappointed.
