| Hey all you swingin hep cats, come on out to the Omaha Jitterbugs Night Out on Friday, Oct 17 and meet James, the carless swing dancer. The cost is a low-low $5 with a lesson at 8pm and dancing starting at 9pm. Dancing goes until 11:30pm. The swing dance is located at 24th and Douglas upstairs at the Eagles Club. Be there or be square!
I will be the one with the black and white swing shoes. hope to see you all and finally meet everyone.

| This is an all ages open to the public thing. This happens every Friday night at this location. According to James (the original poster of this thread) there are lots of people there and the men take turns with the ladies. James, can you explain this better?

| Hmmm...I seriously think I was a dancer in another life! Too bad I didn't bring any of the talent with me to this life. This was a lot of fun though...and I think maybe with about 20 more lesons I'll be able to remember which foot goes forward first  Seriously though...this was a lot of fun and I would definately like to do it or something like it again soon! James was right--there are lots of guys there to dance with and I was impressed that they were really non-judgemental-like and friendly! Thanks for posting this, James!
